Shane Paul Smith - "Lonely on the Bright Side"

I'm proud to say that I "discovered" Shane at a heavily-biased, Idolesque mall talent show when I was working in New Orleans radio back in 2003. I financed a recording session with producer Jack Miele, who later reconnected with Shane. Eventually, Jack introduced Shane to Tom Drummond (of Better Than Ezra), and they entered the studio to produce Shane's latest release, The Short of It.
